Jihye is an Engagement Leader at Strop Insights with over seven years of experience in market research, leading end-to-end custom studies for Fortune 500 clients and beyond. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, she earned a B.B.A. in International Business from Stephen F. Austin State University and now calls Dallas home.
She specializes in survey design, data analysis, and visual storytelling – transforming complex datasets into clear, strategic insights. Her work is industry-agnostic and typically includes brand equity and competitive benchmarking, brand tracking, category attitude & usage studies, concept testing, and more. Jihye has partnered directly with global brands, as well as with consulting firms and private equity teams, helping diverse stakeholders make confident, insight-driven decisions. Known for her analytical rigor and collaborative mindset, Jihye brings clarity and focus to every project she leads.
Before joining Strop, she explored digital content through a social media internship at Her Campus. She also briefly served as a Customer Insights Consultant at Southwest Airlines, where she gained valuable client-side perspective and sharpened her ability to align research with business goals.
Outside of work, Jihye enjoys making specialty coffee and matcha at home, discovering new restaurants, traveling (with a love for both nature and cities – though Iceland is her favorite), and spending time with friends, family, and her two pugs, Beanie and Boba.
