Mary Salazar

Mary Salazar is a Finance Director at Strop LLC with 39 years of distinguished experience in accounting, finance, analytics, and tax. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from Midwestern State University (1986) and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989.

Throughout her career, Mary has built her expertise at prestigious organizations including Coca-Cola and Accenture, where she honed her skills across diverse business environments and complex financial landscapes. In 2015, she joined Karen Collom, CPA, a Texas-headquartered accounting firm offering comprehensive Tax Accounting Advisory Services, including accounting, bookkeeping, and tax assistance tailored for individuals and small- to medium-sized enterprises. It was through her work at Karen Collom, CPA, that Mary joined the Strop team.

At Strop LLC, Mary serves as Finance Director, where she leverages her comprehensive expertise in accounting, finance, analytics, and tax to uncover opportunities and drive operational efficiencies. Mary's core strength lies in her ability to adapt to changing business environments with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented attitude.

Her versatile skill set along with strong interpersonal abilities, allows her to effectively collaborate across any and all organizations. 

Beyond work, Mary enjoys cooking, her two bichon pups, cycling and everything NFL with a goal of visiting all 30 stadiums.
